GISS Program
The ISF offers scholarships to innovative and talented students who finish high school to complete a university education.
The program offers scholarships to brilliant students “Gifted Students Scholarships” (GISS) who will undergo a series of tests and interviews in a nationwide competition to select the best brilliant students in Egypt in basic sciences and technology, and a database is developed for brilliant students in Egypt to monitor and support them throughout their academic journey.
The program also offers scholarships for Innovative Students (ISS) to hone their creative and innovative skills. ISF will provide scholarships to gifted students finishing their high schools and entering university.
The ISF Gifted Student Scholarships (GISS) Program will:
- Conduct an awareness campaign targeting students, parents, teachers and the public on the concept of academic giftedness.
- Develop the criteria of identifying gifted students.
- Engage with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and all high schools to nominate their top students, who will undergo a series of exams and interviews in a nation-wide competition to select Egypt’s top gifted students in 6 different topics.
- Create the needed deals with top local universities to provide these selected gifted students with scholarships for their university education.
- Develop database of Egypt’s gifted students to monitor and support throughout their academic journey.
Expected Outcomes
- Gifted High-school students to be granted scholarships for their university education, as well as continuous support throughout their academic journey
